Experienced Safety Officer - 1 Position to join our winning team.
Based in Yangon.
Job Responsibilities
- Safe systems of work are developed, implemented, and controlled
- All staff are trained, understand and to carry out any task required of them in a safe manner according to the company’s H&S regulations
- Verification of tools and equipment to ensure good quality and support to have safe working method
- All items of personal protective equipment are suitable for their application, adequately maintained, in good condition and readily available
- Continuous inspection of sites, to ensure a hazard-free environment and Promoting safety practices on site
- Assessment and approval of subcontractor safety plans by coordination with Operation Manager & team
- All accidents/incidents, near miss incidents arising from the work activity are adequately investigated, recorded, and reported
- Communicate with Corp IOD to access the updated policy, directions and to seek advice whenever required
- Assist on any ad-hoc tasks as required by Management
Requirements;
- A bachelor’s degree or any relevant
- Must have valid competency certificate/s for occupational health and safety HSE
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in CONSTRUCTION SAFETY MANAGEMENT
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft Applications
- Extensive knowledge of health and safety protocols
- Excellent attention to detail
- ENGLISH Compulsory
